I went there with my friends, Nishad and Jafar. Porotta with beef curry is the specialty at this 30 year-old shop. But there was another unique combination that caught my attention. It was Ullivada with beef curry. Although I am allergic to beef, I do taste it occasionally when such irresistible combinations are before my eyes. So we tasted crispy Ullivada with spicy beef curry. Beef curry was simply awesome. Porotta with beef curry was as always, wonderful! Though I ordered a chickpea curry also with this, it was nothing when compared to beef. ധർമേട്ടന്റെ കട എന്ന് കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നെ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് മനസ്സിലാവും, ഇത് ഒരു കൊച്ചു ചായക്കട ആണ് എന്ന്. കടയുടെ മുന്നിൽ പേര് പോലും എഴുതിയിട്ടില്ല. അടുക്കളയിൽ പാചകം വിറകു അടുപ്പിൽ. ധർമേട്ടന് കൂട്ടായി രണ്ടു പേര് കൂടി ഉണ്ട് ഇവിടെ. പൊറോട്ട, ബീഫ് കറി, ഉള്ളിവട ചായ എല്ലാം ഇവർ മൂവരും കൂടി ആണ് പാകം ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഉള്ളിവടയും ബീഫും കഴിക്കാൻ ഇവിടെ ഒത്തിരി പേര് വരുന്നുണ്ട് എന്ന് കേട്ടപ്പോൾ അതൊന്നു കഴിക്കണം എന്ന് തീരുമാനിച്ചു, ബീഫ് എനിക്ക് അലർജി ആണ്, എന്നാലും പോട്ടെ. റിസ്ക് എടുത്തത് വെറുതെ ആയില്ല കേട്ടോ, ബീഫ് അടിപൊളി രുചി തന്നെ. ഉള്ളിവടയുടെ കൂടെയും പൊറോട്ടയുടെ കൂടെയും നല്ല രുചികരം ആയ കോമ്പിനേഷൻ.
